A Short RRWC 2025 Group Stage Update
Heading into the final week of the Group Stage

The busiest stretch of the roulette year is in full swing. Over the first 18.5 days of RRWC 2025, 134 of 189 matches have already been played. Seven players have secured their spots in the Knockout Stage, while 47 others continue to battle for the remaining 25 places before the Group Stage concludes on Sunday.
As of Monday, 18:00 CEST, here’s how the eight groups stand as RRWC 2025 heads into its final week of the Group Stage.
Group A
Group A features some of the most entertaining players, and one of the most exciting qualification battles, though it’s mostly decided by now. Defending world champion Scruffy’s progression was never in doubt, but after five straight wins, he closed out his group stage with a 0–6 loss to Meekah, who now has the group victory in their own hands, needing just seven points combined from matches against lukedotpng and Zi.
Third-placed lukedotpng is virtually through as well, while Zi needs only three points from his final two matches (against FuGu_AntOn and Meekah) to secure advancement to the Knockout Stage in his first RRWC. Although all seven players still have mathematical chances to finish in the top four, the group standings will likely remain as they currently are.
Group B
Group B became more interesting with the addition of seventh-seeded TheTimeCube, the 2023 champion who hadn’t played in any RRs this year. He, along with three other North Americans, made it extremely difficult for the lower seeds to advance, and as of Monday, an upset now seems very unlikely.
Dropping just 2 and 3 maps in five matches, TheTimeCube and The Rieper 47 lead the way and are expected to hold onto first and second place, though three key matches (Alph-Channel, Alph-Time, and Channel-Rieper) could still shake up the final order. With an impressive 15 points already, Pac is projected to finish fifth, his best RRWC group result to date, ahead of GLeBaLK, Frank The Eagle, and WelfareChexx, three first-time RRWC players.
Group C
With eight matches still to be played, much remains uncertain in Group C, except for Dein Nomos’ guaranteed Top 2 finish. Thanks to an upset win against Dein, GiggsRH now has the group victory in their own hands. Even if they fall short of scoring 18 points in their remaining four matches, they’re well positioned to qualify behind the two-time runner-up.
Four players remain locked in a battle for the final two qualifying spots, all projected to finish between 16 and 20 points. The head-to-head matchups between Pigiero, Some Random Person, and apricope will likely decide almost everything. Kobalt00122, who wrapped up his group stage a week ago with three wins and three losses, now waits as a sitting duck while the rest of the group finishes around him. His 17 points will most likely leave him just one point short of qualification, but this group is far from settled.
Group D
Seven roulette talents and a long-time returnee have made Group D one of the toughest this year. Many expected graory or Yannini to remain undefeated, but both RR17’s third- and fourth-place finishers fell to SkyL3R. The Russian is putting together one of the most impressive group stages of the year: six wins from six matches, all 4–2, and with a sweep against dinkdoink, he could end the group on 30 points tonight.
Group D’s final order now lies mostly in Yannini’s hands. The three-time champion has four matches left and needs at least seven points combined from linux_penguin and Sparkles to secure qualification before facing graory on the final day. Yannini has the highest potential, but graory’s path to the group win is the easiest: a sweep against dinkdoink and a win over Yannini would give him first place for the second year in a row.
If linux_penguin and Sparkles manage to slow Yannini down, they could still fight for fourth. But to stay alive, they’ll likely need to beat or ideally sweep the German; otherwise, Yannini should cruise safely into the top three, just ahead of IlikeHitman.
Group E
Half of the eight remaining matches in Group E involve the yet-winless KILiSION, so assuming equal performance from them against all opponents, the group standings can be simplified significantly. In this scenario, the group is still led by quatilyti, whose final match against the already eliminated Fuzk makes the Russian a very likely group winner.
Apart from Ducker, who can secure qualification with just a KILiSION sweep, three other players face life-or-death matches later this week. Duttykins will be in trouble if he fails to score against Ducker, while the winner of MrMike–OhShitMan is most likely through. A rare three-way tie is also possible, if Ducker beats Duttykins 4–2 and MrMike beats OhShitMan 4–2.1
Group F
Much remains uncertain in Group F, though Jokerj has already secured qualification with five wins and 30 points. The yet-undefeated Qrescent7 may currently stand outside the top four, but he’s expected to climb, and potentially overtake Jokerj’s point total to claim the group win.
If (or rather, when) Qrescent7 finishes in the Top 4, one of the current top four will have to drop to an elimination spot. The three-way tie at the moment makes things unpredictable, but Omni_TMN faces the toughest path, with final matches against Qrescent7 and HOUSEN, the frontrunners for the top two spots. If Omni pulls off an upset or two, Blithe could be in danger, though for now he’s projected to finish fourth, with Falcon, mikulers, and GuLe rounding off Group F.
Group G
Although only four matches remain in Group G, four players can still claim the top spot, and six are fighting to advance in the most unpredictable group of the year. Despite a loss to aphro and a timeout tie, top seed In4Fun is guaranteed to finish first with any win over Fly4u, which could include a tiebreaker match if magicdave94 sweeps both of his remaining opponents.
Currently, advancing from this group with 20 points is likely but not guaranteed, which is why neither ChrisX3 nor aphro is marked blue. Aphro could run into rare trouble if she fails to score a point against Fly4u, while ChrisX3 is done, waiting for a specific set of results (not) to happen.
The other three players also have fate in their own hands. Parapluie needs a win against magicdave94 to overtake ChrisX3 and likely secure a Top 4 finish, while magicdave94 has several paths to collect six points in his final two matches to reach 21 points. The biggest unknown is Fly4u, who still has three matches to play and could finish anywhere from first to sixth, depending entirely on their own performance.
Group H
Though no one has fully finished their Group H campaign, and the top three seeds have yet to face each other, the Top 4 is already starting to take shape, albeit in an as-yet unknown order. Both Frote7 and Nezuko Chan remain undefeated, and their clash later this week will almost certainly decide the group winner.
Fifth-seeded CodenameKenny is punching above his weight, holding a two-point lead over TK47 for third place. While the Tunisian has yet to play the group leaders, Kenny is expected to score more points in his final two matches against Veggerby and Gomadu3. They need to score decent points though: if any players outside the Top 4, particularly AlexHiller, perform well in their remaining matches, they could snatch fourth place from CodenameKenny or TK47.

In this scenario (including sweeps against KILiSION), head-to-head results would break the test, with MrMike taking third place, ahead of Duttykins and OhShitMan.
